Design and Process
Every member of our leadership team has a formal art background.
We are also information architects, web strategists, programmers, developers, writers and educators. Our individual strengths converge to yield compelling solutions, but our common bond is a love of the visual. We believe that in this information age, things visual still have the power to inform above all else. Don’t get us wrong, we love words too, and numbers for that matter, but visual imagery is the coin of our realm.
We know a lot about schools and as much about design, and while we can’t reproduce your school on a flat screen, we can create a compelling visual narrative that will resonate with each of your varied audiences. This visual design is so deeply integrated into the suite of tools we have compiled in Drupal that the two essentially become one, in a manner that is inherently organic. The result is a web communication system of enormous power and rich texture.
Ours is a five-step process of Discovery, Architecture, Prototyping, Design, and Implementation. Our lead contact within each school is as important as any member of our development team. The project is managed seamlessly from start to finish through the award winning BaseCamp System, from 37 Signals, and clear communication is a daily ritual. A schedule for the entire process, including comprehensive interim actions and deliverables, is posted in advance of the Discovery phase to ensure that the process moves forward according to a very specific plan. Ample time is allocated for testing and review. Your team of administrative users is trained on the Drupal CMS and modules prior to launch, and once the requisite content has been loaded into the system, the site is launched, and the celebration ensues.
